The Knolls Board of Directors is the voluntary governing body for the Knolls Homeowners Association, a covenant-protected community. Board members serve as liaison to one or more standing or ad hoc committees.  View the Policies document here.

Eight directors comprise the Board of the Association. Directors serve two years, with four directors elected each year at the November homeowners’ meeting. Monthly meetings of the Board take place on the second Monday at 7:00 PM in the Knolls clubhouse.  

2011 Scheduled Meeting Dates:
January 10; February 14; March 14; April 11; May 9; June 13; July 11; August 8; September 12; October 10; November 14; December 12.

Homeowners who wish to be considered for the board may contact a current board member. The slate of Board members is named in September or October for adequate homeowner notification before the November meeting. In case of more candidates than positions available, voting is by written ballot at the meeting, with absentee ballots available. Each property has one vote.

Committees

Activities and functions of the Association are undertaken by committees chaired and staffed by homeowners on a volunteer basis. The Board monitors and approves all committee activities and expenditures.  Visit our committees section to see more details regarding the activities of each of our current committees.
